Carle Place/Wheatley 34, Oyster Bay 14: Quarterback Andrew Hastings threw for 100 yards and one touchdown on three attempts to lead Carle Place/Wheatley (2-4) in Nassau IV. Hastings threw a curlout pass to Luke Serio, who broke a tackle and ran 65 yards for a touchdown with six minutes remaining in the first quarter, giving Carle Place a 14-7 lead. "At halftime we were surprised that the game was so close, so we had to put the game on Lucas Golon's shoulders. And he rose to the occasion," coach Tim Moran said. Running back Lucas Golon then continued by putting on a show, rushing for 203 yards and two touchdowns on 14 attempts. In total, the team rushed for 300 yards. Defensive end Zach Farmiloe led the defense with 13 tackles and two sacks. Running back Luis Costa had one rushing touchdown and wide receiver Luke Serio had one receiving touchdown.
