HIGHLIGHTS
Lynbrook 21, Glen Cove 6: Joey Castillo completed 10 of 17 passes for 115 yards, one touchdown and one interception for Lynbrook (2-2) in Nassau III. Castillo also rushed for 49 yards on 12 carries. Zach Mercedes hauled in a 45-yard touchdown pass from Castillo late in the third to give Lynbrook a 14-0 advantage. Glen Cove's Joey Grella returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown to cut the Glen Cove deficit to 14-6. The Owls maintained an eight-point lead entering the fourth quarter after Tommy Urena blocked the Glen Cove extra point attempt. Urena recorded 18 tackles and one sack. Jonathan Cabral-Martin, who had 13 rushes for 102 yards and a touchdown, extended the Lynbrook lead to 15 with a 19-yard touchdown carry on the opening drive of the fourth quarter. Thomas O'Brien had seven receptions for 53 yards.
