Plainedge 49, Floral Park 21: Mike Ciuffo completed 11 of 18 passes for 190 for four touchdowns and Dion Kuinlan ran for 195 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries to lead Plainedge (4-0) in Nassau III. Floral Park opened the scoring on five-yard pass from Mitchell Kozak to Brian Esposito in the first quarter before Ciuffo threw a 5-yard touchdown to Brian Bornkamp to tie the score and a 30-yard score to Bornkamp to give Plainedge the lead. Ciuffo threw another 30-yard touchdown to Michael Harding, before Esposito caught an 80-yard touchdown from Kozak later first quarter. Kuinlan scored on a 15-yard touchdown run and Ciuffo threw a 54-yard pass to Harding to give Plainedge a 35-14 lead going into halftime. Zack Licata ran for a two-yard touchdown in the third quarter to extend the lead to 42-14. Chris Chimera scored on a 10-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter but Plainedge recovered the ensuing onside kick and James Bowler caught a 15-yard pass from Dan Villari to ice the game.
