Mepham 24, Calhoun 20: Kevin McCleneghan caught screen pass from Kevin Proios and ran it 20-yards for the winning touchdown with 2 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter for Mepham (2-0) in Conference II. Proios completed 13-of-27 passes for 193 yards and three second half touchdowns. McCleneghan's 2-yard touchdown catch and Michael Estevez's 51-yard grab in the third quarter tied the game at 14. Estevez finished with 119 yards on 21 carries. Matt Hegi had 10 tackles and Marco Baez and Mike Osorio each had six tackles and two sacks.
