West Hempstead 27, Oyster Bay 12: Anthony Salimbene had a 70-yard interception return for a touchdown on the fifth play of the game to set the tone for West Hempstead in its Nassau IV opener. Anthony Galan led West Hempstead with 180 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns. Tim Shanley and Chris Jean-Louis connected on a 28-yard touchdown on the Rams' lone pass attempt of the game and Frank Messina had 11 tackles and a fumble recovery on defense.
