Mepham 35, MacArthur 34: Nick Cucinella's interception at the MacArthur 45-yard line iced the Nassau II win. Michael Proios' three-yard touchdown pass to Gianni Macchio with eight seconds remaining gave the Pirates a one point lead. The score, set up by a 35-yard pass to Anthony Novello and screen pass to Kevin McCleneghan, capped a 60-yard, 2:30 drive, orchestrated without a timeout. MacArthur took the lead with 11:55 left in the game when quarterback Kyle Acquavella found Hugh Kelleher for a nine-yard touchdown. Mepham's Proios threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns and McCleneghan caught 12 passes for 180 yards. James Hatcliffe made nine tackles. Matt Hegi made seven tackles and Michael Osorio made six.
