Centereach 26, Smithtown East 0: Alec Kiernan ran for 153 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries and also had one of Centereach's two fumble return touchdowns to lead the Cougars (4-0) in Suffolk II. Kiernan opened the scoring in the second quarter on a 4-yard touchdown run that was set up by a 42-yard pass from Jay Morwood to Chris Witherspoon that brought the Cougars to the 4-yard line. In the third quarter, Michael Grieco recovered a fumble on a botched snap and returned it 51 yards for a touchdown. With 7:25 left in the game, Kiernan forced a fumble on a fourth down attempt, recovered it and ran it back 91 yards to make the score 19-0. Devin Demetres ran for a 62-yard score with 1:48 left in the game.
