LaDonna ran for 85 yards and completed 9 of 14 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns. Max Albanese scored on a 61-yard catch and run to tie the game at 14 in the third quarter. West Islip held Newfield scoreless in the second half and overtime. The West Islip defense made a stop on fourth and inches from inside their own 20 in the final minute of regulation. Kyle Aff had 11 tackles and a forced fumble for West Islip (2-0).
