West Babylon 20, East Islip 13: Mark Esposito rushed for the winning touchdown with eight minutes remaining in the fourth to give West Babylon the win in Suffolk III opener. Esposito had 20 carries for 133 yards including the touchdown. He completed nine of 12 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles defense held East Islip to less than 100 offensive yards throughout the game and thwarted a hail mary pass toward the end of the fourth. Rocco Longo had 10 tackles. Mike Meo had five carries for 60 yards. Jason Fucci caught four passes for 66 yards. Robert Strzala had a receiving touchdown and Dante Terry had a rushing touchdown.
