HIGHLIGHTS
Bethpage 13, Plainedge 7: Yoannis Estathiou ran off tackle for 13 yards and a score with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter to put Bethpage (4-1) ahead in Nassau III. Plainedge started its next possession on its own 20-yard line and picked up two first downs to bring the ball into Bethpage territory. But with 5:15 left in the game, Brian Seiter picked off a pass to halt the Red Devils' momentum and regain possession for the Golden Eagles. Bethpage would then run out the clock, as Michael Sforza converted a fourth-and-2 with a 4-yard run with two minutes left. Estathiou also scored the tying TD just before halftime, when Bethpage ran another off tackle run from 16 yards out. Estathiou had 170 yards rushing on 22 carries while Christian Ferruzza ran for 104 yards on 11 carries. Sforza led Bethpage with 12 tackles. Plainedge (4-1) went ahead 7-0 early in the second quarter on Davien Kuinlan's 12-yard TD run off right tackle.
