North Shore 32, Malverne 22: Joe Floccari completed nine of 13 passes for 210 yards and four touchdowns to lead North Shore (2-3) over Malverne (2-3) in Conference IV. Floccari responded after throwing an interception that was returned for a touchdown, when he connected with John Lennon, who ran a slant pattern, for a 20-yard touchdown to put North Shore ahead 12-6 with 6:23 left in the second quarter. With Malverne threatening near the red zone, cornerback Josh Schwartz stripped the ball from a Malverne running back, recovered the fumble and ran it back 77 yards for a touchdown with 5:01 left in the second, which gave North Shore a 20-6 lead.
