East Islip 31, Comsewogue 15: Kyle Fleitman completed 4 of 6 passes for 56 yards and a touchdown and rushed 17 times for 174 yards and a touchdown to lead No. 3 East Islip over No. 6 Comsewogue in a Suffolk III quarterfinal. Justin Taveras added seven rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown and Dylan Rigo tallied five rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. Chris Higgins caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Fleitman in the second quarter to give East Islip a 23-0 lead. Higgins had 12 tackles and Taveras added an interception. East Islip held Comsewogue to 47 yards of total offense. East Islip (7-2) will face No. 2 Westhampton Friday 6 p.m. at Westhampton.
