Bethpage 23, Plainedge 7: Pat Luzzi hauled in two touchdown receptions to lead No. 4 Bethpage (5-4) over No. 4 Plainedge in a Nassau III quarterfinal. After falling behind 7-0 early on, Bethpage responded with 23 unanswered points. Luzzi followed up a 40-yard touchdown reception with a 25-yarder to give the Golden Eagles a 17-3 lead entering the half. Jack Raia tacked on a 39-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
