Miller Place 42, Port Jefferson 12: Tyler Ammirato rushed 14 times for 110 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 3 Miller Place over No. 6 Port Jefferson in a Suffolk IV quarterfinal. Kevin Gersbeck added two receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns and Coleton Reitan completed one pass for 70 yards and a touchdown. Anthony Seymour completed two of six passes for 87 yards and a touchdown and also had a 15-yard touchdown run. Shane White, Joe Filipetti and Ammirato each had 5 tackles. White also added an interception. Miller Place (7-2) will travel to No. 3 Shoreham Wading River on Friday in the semifinals.
