Carle Place/Wheatley 42, East Rockaway 12: Chris Kelly ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns on five carries to lead No. 2 Carle Place/Wheatley (7-2) over No. 7 East Rockaway in a Nassau I quarterfinal and earn its first playoff win in program history. Kelly recorded a 58-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter to give the Frogs a 14-point advantage. Kelly also had a 31-yard touchdown carry in the fourth quarter. Dom Pascarella's five-yard touchdown run in the second extended the Carle Place/Wheatley lead to 21-0 entering the half. Pascarella finished with 39 yards on five carries. Dayce Niosi added nine rushing attempts for 55 yards and a touchdown.
