HIGHLIGHTS
Roosevelt 17, Lawrence 14: Corey Bull finished with 81 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, while also coming up with a key interception down the stretch, to lead Roosevelt (7-1) in Nassau III. Bull picked off a deep pass from Lawrence quarterback Akym Land at the goal line with just under seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Bull also opened the scoring with a three-yard touchdown run in the first. Rough Riders quarterback Stephen Vailes found Farrakhan Anderson in the corner of the end zone on a 37-yard touchdown pass with 11:52 to go to give Roosevelt a 17-14 lead and what proved to be the winning score. Kevon Hall added 108 rushing yards for Roosevelt on 19 attempts. Isaiah Mitchell was huge on defense for Roosevelt, coming up with an interception about midway through the third quarter and blocking a field goal attempt that would have tied the game at 17 early in the fourth.
