Rocky Point 48, Hauppague 20: Sean McGovern, Pete LaSalla and Alec Rinaldi combined to rush for more than 500 yards, leading Rocky Point (5-2) in Suffolk III. McGovern ran 15 times for 236 yards and three touchdowns, and LaSalla ran 15 times for 200 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Damian Rivera in the second quarter. Rinaldi carried the ball 12 times for 85 yards. Rocky Point outscored Hauppauge, 21-0, in the fourth quarter, turning three turnovers into touchdowns and breaking the game open. Rivera and Stephen Psillos had interceptions that led to scoring drives, and Brendan Heggers scooped up a fumble and returned it 62 yards to the endzone.
