Miller Place 34, Mt. Sinai 21: Tyler Ammirato had a dominant night on the ground, rushing for 218 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries to lead Miller Place (5-2) in Suffolk IV. After trailing 14-13 in the second quarter, Miller Place scored 21 unanswered points to take a 34-14 lead in the fourth quarter. Ammirato scored the final two touchdowns on runs of 35 yards and five yards, respectively. Ammirato's longest carry of the night came on a 40-yard touchdown in the first quarter to extend the Panthers' lead to 13-0 following his two-yard rushing touchdown to open the scoring. Miller Place quarterback Coleton Reitan completed four of eight passes for 78 yards, finding Kevin Gersbeck for a 30-yard touchdown in the second. Gersbeck recorded three receptions for 70 yards. Christian Kelleher carried the ball 10 times for Miller Place, picking up 78 yards.
