HIGHLIGHTS
Herricks 14, Manhasset 7: Lou Mangia's interception around midfield on fourth-and-7 with 40 seconds remaining sealed the victory for Herrick (3-3) in Nassau II. Mangia also reeled in a 15-yard touchdown pass on a post down the middle of the field on from Mike Lee on Herrick's opening drive. The Herricks defense had a strong game -- led by Mike Scaldaferri's eight tackles -- and Manhasset's only score came on a short field in the third quarter following a blocked punt. Lee completed 9 of 18 passes for 93 yards and added a 2-yard touchdown run to give Herrick's a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. Mike Chase added 61 yards on 13 carries and recorded a sack.
