Sachem East 48, Central Islip 14: Jake Kelleher racked up 172 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries to lead Sachem East (2-4) in Suffolk I. Kelleher broke away for a 62-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give Sachem East a 10-0 lead. Kelleher followed that up with a three-yard rushing touchdown later in the quarter. Quarterback Brendan Ryan was also big for Sachem East, as he passed for an 18-yard touchdown on one attempt, rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on five carries and intercepted a pass. Jake Buckevich hauled in Ryan's touchdown pass. Tom Cappello had a four-yard touchdown carry to to give Sachem East a 27-7 lead at halftime and topped that with a 72-yard scamper to the end zone in the fourth quarter. Cappello finished with four carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
