Mepham 62, Westbury 38: Tyler Davis ran for 321 yards and five rushing touchdowns off 15 carries and completed 9 of 14 passes for 105 yards to lead Mepham (2-3) over Westbury (2-3) in Conference II. In the third quarter, Mepham went on a 10 play 99-yard drive set up by Chris Durkin's second forced fumble of the game. The drive ended with a 25-yard rushing touchdown for quarterback Tyler Davis, who ran up the left end of the field into the endzone, giving Mepham a 35-20 lead. With 1:40 remaining in the third quarter, Chris Gabriel ran a 72-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, giving Mepham a 41-32 lead going into the fourth quarter. Chris Durkin made an impact offensively and defensively for Mepham. He rushed for 166 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 22 attempts and finished with 17 tackles, two sacks and two forces fumbles. "Week in and week out he's been our best player. He's one of the better linebackers in the conference," Coach Anthony Cracco said. Wide receiver Yianni Hilas had 93 yards on seven catches. The last score of the game was by sophomore running-back Joe Franco, when he rushed for a 5-yard touchdown with 3:54 left in the game.
