Sachem North 27, Brentwood 20: Alezandro Aponte's 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave Sachem East a 27-20 lead in Suffolk I. It was Aponte's second 1-yard scoring run in the quarter, his first giving the Flaming Arrows a 20-13 lead. Aponte finished with 86 yards and two scores on 22 carries. Nick Licostie completed 7 of 12 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown for Sachem East (4-2). His favorite target throughout the game was Courtney Williams, who had five receptions for 79 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give Sachem East a 7-6 lead. Williams added a 91-yard touchdown run on a reverse in the third quarter.
