Commack 33, Sachem East 23: Kevin Snyder rushed for 120 yards on 17 carries and three touchdowns in Suffolk I. Snyder's touchdowns came from 1, 3, and 5 yards. Ronnie Beard's 15-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Sheridan with 7:00 left in the third gave Commack an 18-17 lead. Beard had eight receptions for 170 yards. Snyder's 3-yard run with 3:05 left in the third quarter increased their lead to 25-17. Sheridan threw for 200 yards and rushed for 98 for Commack (1-3).
