Roosevelt 41, Clarke 7: Johnnie Akins had 11 carries for 209 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, while adding another score on a 19-yard fumble return, all in the first half, to guide Roosevelt (4-0) in its Conference IV win over Clarke (2-2). Raymond Jones, who finished with two carries for 76 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown run on the Rough Riders' first offensive play from scrimmage, added nine tackles and three sacks. Elliot Fortune had seven tackles and a sack.
