Hauppauge 14, Islip 0: Quarterback Nick Paresi passed for 80 yards, racked up another 130 on the ground and found the end zone on a first quarter carry to lead Hauppauge (2-0) to a Suffolk-III shutout win. First and fourth quarter touchdown runs were all the scoring Hauppauge needed to come away with a win. Paresi's five-yard touchdown run in the first quarter put Hauppauge ahead 7-0. Steven Holber helped put the game away with a four-yard scoring carry in the fourth. Hauppauge's John Munro came up with a team-high six tackles on the day.
