Centereach 7, Half Hollow Hills East 0: With four seconds remaining in the game, Alec Kiernan took a third-and-goal carry from the 1-yard line, leaped over the linemen and extended the ball over the goal line to give Centereach a 7-0 lead in Suffolk II. Centereach (2-1) started its final drive on the Hills East 43-yard line with 2:31 remaining in the game after the Hills East punter's knee hit the ground after receiving the snap on fourth down. Half Hollow Hills East dove on the ensuing kickoff at its own 40 yard line and Vinny Liotta recorded a sack for Centereach on the final play of the game. Centereach allowed just 168 yards, led by Jesse Distasio's seven tackles and second-quarter interception. Kevin Amaya had six tackles. Kiernan finished with 151 yards on 24 carries.
