Long Beach 47, Mepham 45: Vincent Deale caught a 20-yard touchdown pass in the front right corner of the end zone from Sam Brown as time expired to complete a 70-yard, 30-second drive, lifting Long Beach (2-0) to a Nassau II win. Mepham's Michael Proios scored with 38 seconds left to put his side up four before Long Beach got the ball without any timeouts remaining. A double-pass play netted the Marines 40 yards before another completed pass and spike put them on the 20 with six seconds left. Brown threw for 314 yards and five touchdowns on 11 completions. Tyreek Bromley rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. He also had 12 tackles. Deale had 82 yards on four receptions.
