HIGHLIGHTS
Calhoun 31, Herricks 0: Punter Andrew Santaniello landed two punts in the five-yard line setting up a blocked punt and a safety pushing Herricks back and leading Calhoun (1-1) in Nassau II. Tommy Cummings blocked the punt and recovered it scoring a touchdown for Calhoun. He had 14 carries for 104 yards with three touchdowns. The Calhoun allowed just 48 yards of total offense. "We needed a big night from [Cummings] and he gave it to us," said Coach Brian Moeller. Dan Marcello kicked two successful onside kicks. Moeller says special teams played great.
