Lindenhurst 21, Bay Shore 0: Jeremy Ruckert had six receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown and also recorded two sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery, to lead Lindenhurst in a Suffolk I opener. Austin Perry was 14-of-24 for 170 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 86 yards on nine carries. Malik Grant recovered two fumbles, one of which he returned for a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Vincent Winey led the Lindenhurst defense with eight tackles.
