Elmont 33, Sewanhaka 6: Aaron Ruthman was 16-of-26 for 335 yards and four touchdowns to lead Elmont in its Nassau II opener. Three of Ruthman's four scores came on plays at least 65 yards, including Lucas Mathieu taking a third-of-10 slant route 65 yards in the middle of the first quarter for the game's first score. Mathieu finished with five receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns with an interception. Vincent McDonald had four receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns and Chester Anderson added four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.
