Valley Stream South 29, New Hyde Park 8: Neil Plinto ran for 69 yards on 16 carries, including an 8-yard touchdown run to cap a 13-play, 80-yard drive on the opening possession of the first quarter for Valley Stream South (1-3) against New Hyde Park (0-4) in Conference III. James Cannon added a 4-yard TD in the second and a 20-yard TD run in the third to open a 23-0 lead. Nigel Armstrong ran for a 30-yard TD run in the fourth and finished with 105 yards on 10 carries. Stefawn James added 77 rushing yards on 10 carries. Jesse Blouin made an interception at Valley Stream's South 15-yard line to help seal the shutout.
