HIGHLIGHTS
Whitman 30, Sachem East 0: Quarterback Isaiah Wilkerson led Whitman (1-0) to a runaway win over Sachem East in its first Suffolk-I matchup of the season, as he completed 6-of-18 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Wilkerson also had a five-yard touchdown run. Whitman put up all 30 of its points in the first half, with Jamari Brown opening the scoring for Whitman with a one-yard run in the first quarter. Brown finished with two carries for six yards and two touchdowns, as well as 120 receiving yards on four receptions, including a 70-yard touchdown. On defense Brown came up with an interception. Justin Striviron was also big for Whitman, hauling in two receptions for 80 yards and a second-quarter touchdown. Defenders Mike Bottoni and Derek Dilorenzo recorded two sacks and one interception for Whitman, respectively.
