HIGHLIGHTS
Rocky Point 34, Comsewogue 13: Pete LaSalla had three total touchdowns -- including the go-ahead 11-yard rushing score five minutes into the third quarter -- to lead Rocky Point in a Suffolk III opener. LaSalla ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries and caught two passes for 19 yards and a touchdown. Alec Rinaldi rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on eight attempts and also recovered a fumble. Stephen Psillos (one fumble recovery), Doug Palmer (one sack), Vinny Ayers (eight tackles) and Jake Wandle (five) led the defense.
