Shoreham-Wading River 56, Center Moriches 0. The Wildcats' defense and special teams produced three touchdowns in the first three minutes in the team's 25th consecutive victory. Jalen Wright blocked a punt and recovered to set up Chris Gray's first of two touchdown runs, Xavier Arline returned an interception 20 yards for a score and Chris Sheehan returned a punt 45 yards for another touchdown and later scored on a 70-yard run. Quarterback Kevin Cutinella ran for a 54-yard TD on his only carry. It was the 2016 Suffolk IV opener for both teams.
