North Babylon 36, Deer Park 21: Brandon Sobotker had 16 carries for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns, to lead North Babylon (2-0) - which did not attempt a single pass all night - to a Suffolk-II win over Deer Park. After falling behind in the first quarter 7-0 following a 45-yard Deer Park touchdown pass, North Babylon responded with 36 unanswered points between the first and fourth quarters. The Bulldogs attacked relentlessly on the ground throughout the game. North Babylon rushed for a total of 295 yards and four touchdowns between three running backs. David Estrella, who had 66 yards on six carries, put North Babylon ahead for good with a one-yard score, and tacked on a nine-yard touchdown in the second. Sobotker scored on a two-yard run and a 35-yarder in the second half to extend the lead. Greg Pimentel finished with nine carries for 94 yards.
