Hauppauge 13, Amityville 12: Derek Semon's blocked field goal with 1:00 left helped secure the win for Hauppauge in its Suffolk III opener. Semon also added nine tackles. Steven Holder had 14 carries for 77 yards, Dom Paresi had a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown and Steven Smocer had two receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown.
