HIGHLIGHTS
Valley Stream Central 35, Plainview JFK 28: Zach Rose caught a 28-yard pass in the back corner of the end zone from Stephen Sanchez with 36 seconds left gave Central a 34-28 lead. Justin Moran's kick closed the scoring and gave Cehtral a come-from-behind win. Central (1-0) led 20-6, but JFK scored 22 straight points and led 28-20. Shalome Clarke hauled in a touchdown pass from Sanchez with four minutes left. Sanchez, who had four TD passes, ran in the two point conversion tie the score at 28-all.
