HIGHLIGHTS
Lynbrook 35, Manhasset 3: Sophomore Zach LoCicero threw for two touchdowns - one on a toss pass and another on a screen at quarterback - and caught a 19-yard pass from QB Joe Grossi to lead Lynbrook (3-1) in Conference III. Manhasset kicked off the scoring on a 22-yard field goal, but Lynbrook came blazing back in the second, on Joe Grossi's 19-yard pass to LoCicero, sparking a run of 35 unanswered points. LoCicero finished with 178 yards of total offense, while Grossi was 5-for-12 for 102 yards passing and 203 all-purpose yards. Defensive end Kevin Lann picked off a screen pass on a dive in the third quarter, recovered a fumble in the second quarter and added two sacks. Linebacker Matt Hargadon added eight tackles and a sack.
