East Meadow 22, Baldwin 7: Joe Matchekosky ran for 130 yards on 27 carries to lead No. 3 East Meadow (7-2) over No. 6 Baldwin in a Nassau I quarterfinal. Anthony LaRosa capped East Meadow's eight-minute opening drive with a one-yard touchdown run with four minutes left in the first quarter. East Meadow took over after a Baldwin three-and-out, and scored on an 18-play, 11-minute drive on another one-yard LaRosa touchdown run. Justin Reyes scored on a two-point conversion run to give East Meadow a 15-0 lead. John DeBique scored on the first play of the ensuing Baldwin drive to cut the lead to 15-7. With nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, LaRosa scored on a 27-yard touchdown run to make it 22-7. Frank Michelini had five tackles and a sack for East Meadow.
