Roosevelt 28, Lawrence 20: Jude Innocent ran for 189 yards on 39 carries, and Quran Simmons caught four passes for 51 yards and two touchdowns to lead No. 4 Roosevelt (6-3) over No. 5 Lawrence in a Nassau III quarterfinal. Chukwuma Ukwu scored on a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to give Roosevelt a 28-7 lead. Lawrence cut the lead to 28-20 when Marquan Williams scored on a two-yard touchdown run with 0:52 left in the second quarter. Roosevelt ran off the final 6:34 of the game to preserve the win. Stephen Vailes completed 11-of-17 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns, Deandre Barnes had six tackles and a sack, and Andrew Furlein also had six tackles for Roosevelt.
