West Islip 14, Riverhead 6: Mike Lombardi ran for 128 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries to lead No. 3 West Islip (7-2) over No. 6 Riverhead in a Suffolk II quarterfinal. Riverhead's Ryun Moore scored on a seven-yard pass from Tristan Falisi with 10 minutes left in the game to cut West Islip's lead to 7-6, before Andrew Lyons blocked the extra point. Lombardi capped the ensuing West Islip drive with a six-yard touchdown run with 4:21 left to make the score 14-6. Tim Mullane had 10 tackles and two sacks, and Sean Burke had 10 tackles for West Islip.
