North Shore 42, Roosevelt 31: Antonio Evangelista scored on a two-yard run to cap an 86-yard drive with 4:54 left in the game to give North Shore (5-3) a 35-31 lead in Nassau III. Desmond Akpanoko kicked a 25-yard field with 11:02 left in the game to give Roosevelt a 31-28 lead. On its next possession, North Shore drove for the go-ahead score, which featured an 8-yard catch from Peter Bodo from Ryan Aughavin to bring North Shore to the Roosevelt 32. North Shore led 14-0 after the first quarter and 28-21 at halftime, before Roosevelt tied the game with 2:13 left in the third quarter. North Shore's Frank Castiglione returned the opening kickoff of the game for a touchdown, and caught six passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns. Aughavin completed 10-of-19 passes for 252 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran for 84 yards on 11 carries.
