Center Moriches 35, East Hampton/Bridgehampton 14: Tyrell Thomas ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries and also had a passing touchdown to lead Center Moriches (3-1) over East Hampton/Bridgehampton (0-4) in Division IV. Johnel Salerno capped a 67-yard, nine-play drive on CM's second possession of the game with a 4-yard burst up the middle, behind right guard Matt Flood early in the second quarter to tie the score. Thomas, on his second rushing TD of the game, broke through the line of scrimmage, almost went down yet broke a tackle and then went 48 yards to put Center Moriches up 20-7 with 3:30 left in the third. Thomas later found slot receiver John-Cody Cerverizzo on a swing pass for a 55-yard TD with seven minutes left in the game to put CM up 27-14 at the time. Kyle Parks, a middle linebacker, had four solo tackles and 11 other assisted tackles.
