Patchogue-Medford 49, Ward Melville 21: Anthony Lee completed 11 of 14 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns, which were all thrown to wide receiver Connor Coughlin, to lead Patchogue-Medford (3-1) over Ward Melville (2-2) in Division I. Dom Cassella returned the opening kickoff for 95 yards, which was made possible by linebacker Sean Murray's block on the 35. Then the Raiders scored on their next five possessions. On a post-corner route, Coughlin out-muscled three defenders in the end zone and came down with his third touchdown reception from Lee. Coughlin finished with five receptions and 115 yards. Cassella put the Raiders ahead 35-0 when he ran through a large hole behind the blocking of right guard Matt Acierno and center Pat Cleary and went untouched for 95 yards with nine minutes left in the first half.
