Carey 40, Sewanhaka 14: Carey (5-2) scored 27 consecutive points after losing the lead to defeat Sewanhaka in Nassau II. Michael Catanese scored a touchdown on a 3-yard run with 7:31 left in the third quarter to take the lead back for good. That came after a Shaheim Taylor-White 6-yard pass to Stephane Eugene and a two-point conversion that gave Sewanhaka a 14-13 lead with 10:09 left in the third quarter. Catanese passed for 74 yards and a touchdown and had 109 yards on 12 carries in addition to his touchdown run. Angelo Cona rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns on 10 attempts. Anthony Catapano and Joe Sciacca each had six tackles and a sack for Carey.
