MacArthur 34, South Side 7: Mike Rothberg iced the game with a 66-yard INT return for a touchdown on the first defensive drive in the third quarter to give MacArthur a 27-7 lead in Nassau II. On fourth-and-10 from the MacArthur 35-yard line, Rothberg jumped a pass in the flat and sprinted untouched to the end zone. MacArthur (2-2) scored 27 unanswered points after the game was tied at 7 after the first quarter. Carmine Criscione had 94 rushing yards on 11 carries with a TD, and Paul Giuliano had 91 rushing yards on 10 carries with a TD. Giuliano led the team with seven tackles. South Side is 1-3.
