HIGHLIGHTS
Lindenhurst 13, Floyd 7: Joe Palmeri caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Hofmann with 7:25 remaining in the third quarter to put Lindenhurst (6-0) up 10-7 in Suffolk I. Palmeri caught four passes for 73 yards and Hofmann was 10-of-22 for 134 yards. The Lindenhurst defense forced three turnovers, including interceptions by Bob Bove and Mike Newman and a fumble recovery John McCaffrey. Gino Bonagura had 13 tackles and returned a punt 50-yards to the Floyd 1 to set up Ruckert's second field goal. Bove had 10 tackles and a sack and Justin Carter each had a sack. Floyd is 3-3.
