After running back Ade Nelson tied the score with a 9 yard for Comsewogue right before the first half, M''bhaso capped-off a four-minute drive to open the second half with a 1 yard rush up the middle. Comsewogeue then controlled the clock with a 12-minute drive because of a consistent running effort, especially from Ade Nelson, whose 3 yard rushing touchdown tied it at 14 with 10:31 in the fourth. Bellport didn''t score until 1:58 was left in the game, which was when Nick Fountis connected for a 27 yard field goal. Connor Cipp, who had 19 tackles, made several key stops down the stretch to prevent Comsewogue from scoring and get the ball back for Bellport. Fountis then scored on an 18 yard run on a keeper with 57 seconds left. Cipp made two consecutive tackles inside the final minute to prevent Comsewogue from moving up the field and help seal the win. Connor Haverty had 17 tackles, with five of them being solo.
