Plainedge 35, Hewlett 7: Davien Kuinlan ran for 197 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and Nick Frenger completed 16 of 17 passes for 175 yards and two scores to lead Plainedge (3-0) over Hewlett (1-2) in Nassau Conference III. Kuinlan burst up the middle, broke a tackle and ran 24 yards for a touchdown on Plainedge's opening drive of the third quarter, which gave the team a 21-7 lead. Rob Oliver, a defensive tackle and middle linebacker Jake Schozer both led Plainedge on defense with nine tackles.
