Riverhead 16, Smithtown West 6: Curtis Flippen grabbed two interceptions - one in the third quarter and one late in the fourth - to stop Smithtown West's momentum and help Riverhead (2-2) hold onto a victory in Suffolk II. Riverhead scored 16 consecutive points on a field goal and two touchdowns over the last three quarters before Smithtown West finished with a touchdown pass. Tyrese Kerr scored both touchdowns for Riverhead. The first was a 41-yard reception on a pass from Tristan Falisi. The second was a 40-yard run. Ryun Moore ran for 76 yards on 20 carries. Kerr ran for 63 yards on five carries. Falisi threw for 61 yards. Kyle Pipczynski had 12 tackles and recovered an onside kick with time winding down in the fourth quarter.
